Xplan System Upgrade to version 24.10.367 14.11.2024 NEW

Xplan will be unavailable from Friday, 15 November, 9 pm AEST until Saturday, 16 November, 8 am AEST to allow for a site upgrade by Iress. 


During this time, the system will be unavailable.

We ask that you please log out of Xplan prior to 9pm on Friday, 15 November.

 

New features in this release are:

  • Super Contribution Summary, a new feature designed to help you better track your clients’ superannuation contributions (Version 24.10.366)
  • New SMA Supported Portfolio Reports (version 24.9.362)

North Datafeed –  Action required for new password security 05.06.2024

AMP North in collaboration with Iress, has made enhancements to the datafeed to ensure the security of your data, along with improvements to data quality to provide a smoother experience for you.

What's Changing?

Data Security - Knowing their data is secure is at the fore of the mind of all investors. To ensure data can only ever be transmitted to the right adviser, it will now be a requirement that all advisers have a password entered along with the adviser code in Xplan to receive data.

Data Quality - Improved processes have been introduced between AMP North & Iress to ensure data quality remains optimal by introducing automated 'refreshes' for Accounts\Holdings that do not reconcile.  This will help improve & maintain the ongoing data quality for this datafeed, and provide you comfort that reporting from Xplan is accurate.

What do you need to do?
Advisers will need to login to North Online and generate a Token that is the Adviser's new password for your datafeed registration in Xplan.

After generating the Token advisers will need to edit the existing adviser mapping registration within Xplan, adding the Token. Be sure to click Save!

When is this happening?
From the 2nd June 2024, Adviser’s will now be able to generate the Tokens and add them to their mappings in Xplan.

It is required that you generate the Token and register in Xplan before 22 August 2024, if this is not done by then you will not be able to receive any data until the registration is complete.

Refer to page 9 in the attached guide on how to generate the token password via North Online.

Ability to edit any thread, case & opportunity templates 26.03.2024

Please be advised that we have removed the capability ‘edit any thread’ from all users to prevent the ability to edit public thread/case & opportunity templates created by AMP. 

Please note the following for this change:

  • Users will be able to edit their own thread/case/opportunity templates
  • Users will be able to edit any visible thread/case/opportunity templates in their practice group/s as long as "Owner edit only = No" in the template permissions.
  • Only the user who has applied a thread template on the client will be able to edit, remove or abort the thread.

New Xmerge Reports Available - 27/02/2023

 

There are 2 new Xmerge reports available for running practice level reports for:

  1. Xplan User Details – Provides a list of modules applied and pricing per user

  2. Xplan 2 FA Status – Provides a list of users with their 2FA Activation status and relevant information
